This system completes the Land Conveying Management System and was also developed for ICL group. The system automatically receives from the different sites information about the availability of empty and full carts and if they can be used for transport. This provides the tools to assemble efficiently a train that will leave the different sites according to the schedule of the Israel Railway.
The system allows for:
- Real-time tracking of carts
- Assembly of group of carts to the train
- Exit and entrance reports
- Removal or gathering of carts on route
- Reports of schedule irregularities including reasons for delay.
- Failure reports of the different elements of carts.
Production and observation of varied reports including: movement of specific cart, analysis of reasons for delay in schedule, planning reports versus execution reports, reports used for accounting purposes in front of contractor and more.
The system includes automatic interfaces to loading and unloading sites and has a two-way interface with the carts SAP maintenance system.
The system is a Client/Server software that was developed in Visual Basic using Microsoft SQL Server database and data mining software Microsoft Data Reporting Service.
